History
Mónica López Uribe (1962-2014), was born with spina bifida, she was a special educator and psychologist. She also learned two languages: English and French, was an enterprising, person, optimistic, highly motivated to live and solidarity with the needs of the other people. Monica was a tireless dreamer, her main dream was to share her life experience to people like her, that were born with spina bífida. That was the reason why she created Mónica Uribe Por Amor Foundation.
Since 1999, we develop support programs designed to enable a better life for our children and youth and their families, seeking a better understanding and management of their condition.
The Fundación Por Amor and Papayote Travel work together for the childhood.
